Enrollment and Student Information

Biotechnology impacts human health, medical diagnosis, forensics, pharmaceuticals, nutrition, the environment, and agriculture. Training in biotechnology and molecular biology techniques is critical for students who wish to pursue careers in the life sciences and agriculture. In Fall of 2007, KSU will offer an Option in Biotechnology for Biology Majors. This Option will offer courses that provide a foundation for the principles of biotechnology and molecular biology, as well as laboratory experiences and internships in the techniques of Biotechnology.
